Cookie & Tracking Policy
Exactly what runs on this site, what it collects, and how to switch it off.
Effective date: 1 August 2026
1. The short version
We set no cookies of our own. We run no advertising pixels, no session recording and no cross-site tracking, and there is no advertising network on this website. We do use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — but only after you actively accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you reject it, or simply don't respond, nothing from Google Analytics loads and no analytics cookie is set.
One other third-party technology sets a cookie independently of that choice, only when you actively use it: Google reCAPTCHA, which protects the enquiry form from automated abuse. It is described below.
2. Google Analytics
With your consent, we load Google Analytics (GA4) to see aggregate information such as which pages are visited, how visitors arrived at the site, and which enquiry channels convert — this helps us improve the site and staff it appropriately. It is not loaded at all until you click Accept on the banner; clicking Reject (or simply navigating away) keeps it off for that visit.
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Google LLC | Aggregate, anonymised traffic and behaviour analytics | IP address (truncated/anonymised by Google before storage), pages viewed, referring site, device/browser type, and a Google Analytics cookie (typically _ga) |
We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, remarketing, or to identify you individually. This processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can withdraw consent at any time — see section 5.
3. Google reCAPTCHA
The enquiry form on our Contact page is protected by reCAPTCHA. To keep it off every other page, we load it lazily — the reCAPTCHA script is only fetched once you start filling in the form, that is, when you first place the cursor in any of its fields. If you visit the page but never interact with the form, nothing from Google is loaded and no Google cookie is set.
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Google LLC | Distinguishing human submissions from automated ones | IP address, browser and device characteristics, mouse and keyboard interaction patterns, and cookies set on google.com |
This processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We receive only a pass/fail verdict — we do not receive the underlying signals.
4. Other third-party technologies
| Technology | What it does | Does it track you? |
|---|---|---|
| Fonts | The Inter typeface is served from our own domain — it is downloaded at build time, not requested from Google when you visit | No. No request reaches Google. |
| Images | Photographs are fetched by our server and re-served from our own domain | No. Your browser never contacts the image host. |
| AI assistant | Messages you type are sent to Groq, Inc. to generate a reply | No cookies. But see section 5. |
| WhatsApp button | An ordinary link. Nothing loads until you click it | No, unless you click through to WhatsApp. |
5. The AI assistant
The chat widget keeps your conversation in your browser's memory for the duration of the visit. It is not written to cookies, local storage or our database, and it is gone when you close the tab.
To produce a reply, the text you type is sent to Groq, Inc. in the United States. Treat it as you would any public web form: do not enter your PAN, Aadhaar, bank details, passwords or document contents.
6. How to control this
- Reject analytics — click Reject on the cookie banner shown on your first visit. Your choice is remembered in this browser's local storage (not a cookie); clearing your browsing data for this site resets it and shows the banner again next visit.
- Avoid reCAPTCHA entirely — contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp instead of the web form. We treat those routes as equivalent and will never require you to use the form.
- Block or clear cookies — every major browser lets you block third-party cookies or clear them for a site. Blocking Google cookies may stop the enquiry form from submitting; use another contact route if so.
- Skip the AI assistant — simply do not open it. It loads no third-party code until you send a message.
7. Changes
If we add any further tracking technology, we will update this page before it goes live and, where the law requires consent, ask you for it first — the same way we introduced Google Analytics above. See the Privacy Policy for how personal data is handled more generally, or write to privacy@khataworld.in.
